Catherine McClung

Catherine McClung's garden surrounding her Michigan home attracts a host of winged guests who are often captured in her artwork. In addition to her original paintings of birds in their natural habitat, Catherine sells signed and numbered limited edition prints. Her artwork has earned her many awards and achievements including recognition by Ducks Unlimited and other conservation groups. Her painting of indigo buntings and wild blackberries was commissioned for the cover of the Michigan Breeding Bird Atlas. She was contracted by Lenox China to paint a series of limited edition plates and the demand for her work led to the creation of four full dinnerware patterns. Catherine was selected in 2002 to paint the Michigan ornament for the White House Christmas tree.
