Gloria Averbuch

Gloria Averbuch is the author of nine previous books. Two of her soccer books, The Vision of a Champion, co-authored with famed coach Anson Dorrance, and It's Not About the Bra, with soccer star Brandi Chastain, are the recipients of prestigious literary awards.

Her two teenage daughters are have played soccer on youth National Teams. Averbuch and her family, who reside in New Jersey, are huge fans of the art and flair of Brazilian soccer.
